Blew my expectations šš½
Went into it hoping to just blitz through because I knew it was necessary for Infinite Wealth, but I found myself having way more fun than expected.
The Agent fighting style was lame and gadgets were kinda :// couldāve been way cooler, combat felt like a big step backwards after Lost Judgment but it worked
Akame is lovely and her requests were enjoyable, coliseum and the castle were great. The Boutique is one of my fav new additions, canāt believe it took them this long to allow some character customisation.
Shishido and Nishitani my fav new characters, absolutely LOVE both of them and hope to see them again. The daidoji stink and that weird test bs they put Kiryu through in the early chapters reeks, donāt want to see or hear of them again lol
Probably controversial, I think the games benefit massively from being this short. Gives me plenty of side content to enjoy (same stuff weāve been doing for 10 games now), but I can skip the part where I get burned out and spend the rest of the game running to objectives. The story doesnāt drag, it hits all the points it needs to and thereās not an extra 10 hours of needless āplot twistsā.
One of the best endings Iāve experienced and one of the best RGG final bosses. We didnāt necessarily have an emotional connection to the boss but he was representative of a something much more, and it was hype as fuck seeing the Yakuza avengers together again. Ending scene had me bawling my eyes out I fell in love with Kiryu again thank u RGG
