Blows the first out of the water and improves on what the first established by the tenfold. Everything is sheer excellency and creativity at its peak. The soundtrack captures the oddity of the first while still having some jammin tunes. The combat is a fine jrpg combat, status effects being king is something I've always dreamed of in jrpgs and this game delivers. Animations are excellent. Platforming a little funky in places but overall good. 9/10 mini-wayne needs his own spin-off
