Kinda overrated imo. It really is better than Returns, the levels are the most creative I've seen in a platformer, and playing it feels really good. However, it's the actual platforming what feels really frustrating. Many times the game asks of you to go at max speed and react at what's appearing in front of you, but then gives little to no reatction time or suddenly you have to stop for a platform to appear without any notice, making you die over and over again. And the dying and respawning sequence isn't really short or pleasant at all.

Also it has some little things like Dixie being overpowered and the obvious choice between the 3 companions, Rambi being underutilised (which I actually don't know if it's a good or a bad thing), and the bosses are hit or miss. Also get rid of extra lifes, they make no sense anymore. This game is better than all its predecessors in every way but atmosphere, but we're not in 1995 and maybe it should move way past what the first games did.
