A game of diminishing returns as it becomes less about exploring the charming and painfully relatable reconstruction of early Internet culture / message boards and more about solving obscure puzzles. From the mid game onwards I began exclaiming "ugh!" instead of "eureka!" which is such a pity when the spelunking among hidden gossip pages and invite only member's clubs for music piracy never ceased to be a treat. Essentially: I wish this was more about navigating the convoluted yet eternal currency of bragging rights and less about downloading "unofficial" software tools and breaking passwords.
