Quick Review

I played this game just for the campaign and I think it delivers pretty well. The story was engaging and the characters were engaging. The mission variety was pretty decent although I could live without the one with the child.

I played on the Regular difficulty and that provided a good challenge for me. The checkpoints were frequent and plentiful so I never really lost much progress when I died.

The game is shorter than I'd liked though, but not complaining too much on that. I'm looking forward to MWII when it gets releases. For the campaign of course.

My complaints are mostly on the technical side. I had a few freezes in the game that required rebooting the game. It mostly happened in one level though. There were also cutscene stutters throughout which gave me alarm for freezes there. Fortunately, I don't recall any cutscenes that ended freezing on me.

I also didn't like how the campaign's data was mostly, if not all, off the game disc. It was annoying having to download two hefty data packs just to play the campaign.
