The last 5 or so hours is mysterious, tear-jerking, can't look away kind of stuff. The first 15 hours is delightfully-presented but largely thin. The battle system is fun but quickly stopped stretching me. There's very little narrative weight to the vast majority of the story -- occasionally you get blips of pathos and intrigue, but they're immediately washed away by a sea of pastels and fluff. On one hand this makes perfect sense for the story, but on the other I was falling asleep. I think there could have been a better balance, especially in the prologue.

But if you liked Undertale, LISA, OFF, MOTHER, you'll deeply resonate with parts of this game. It's very "No crying until the end".
