Some good horror and story ideas are present here but they're held back by some hamfisted symbolism and writing as well as some mediocre chase sequences. Great sound design and music tho, thank you Yamaoka. Nowhere near as good as the originals but this wasn't as bad as I had expected, It's free so if you like Silent Hill and have a PS5 check it out and at least give it a shot.
