Extremely atmospheric. Felt like a horror movie at times with its aesthetic. To me, World at War is just a slightly downgraded COD4. The campaign isn't as gripping (I only cared about the Russian storyline) and feels like it took a step backwards with graphics a little bit (although it helps with the atmosphere), but other than that, they feel like the same game fundamentally, just with a different setting and weapons. It's not a bad thing though. I still had a blast with the campaign, thanks to most of the level design being superb. The multiplayer is also fun (despite it pretty much being COD4). Let's not forget that this game also introduced Zombies. Treyarch did a great job with this game. Going back to this after playing Black Ops 1 hits different. That's all I'm gonna say.
