This is definitely improved on the already good Kingdom Battle. It still does start to drag a little bit towards the end, but it's a well-made game with a solid core gameplay loop. I liked the freer movement and how well the game prepared you for each story mission, not requiring any sort of grinding. It seems like they understand what makes this series good, so I'd be excited to checkout the next one!
