This game really made playing every other yakuza game worth it.
Combat is fun af and stays true to the goofy nature of yakuza, party characters are well fleshed out and loveable, and the various team activities you can do really solidifies that.
There's an Insane amount of fun side content (with voice acting for most of em) that you can easily spend 60+ hours doing.
The story is engaging, although the ending felt a bit lackluster to me, and it takes some time for the story to really ramp up. But oooh boy when it does ramp up it can get very good.
Overall, one of my fav games for sure.
But man I gotta say, locking post game content and ng+ behind a pay wall feels really scummy to me, especially since no other yakuza game has done this.
