I beat the story for the main game and I was like “WTF happened to Lucas!?!”. This DLC answered that question and gave more backstory to the main game. Keep in mind however that this is more action oriented then horror but was still fun nonetheless. This is also free. Please play this if you already beat RE 7’s main story.
