Like Octodad, I Am Bread, or Surgeon Simulator, Supermarket Shriek is a wacky, loose, physics-based game with uncooperative controls that want to fight you in the parking lot. But it is definitely easier than its forebears.

You have two characters in a shopping cart. Their screams are activated by the two triggers on the controller. When they scream, their mouths function like jet engines, propelling the cart. You control the whole game by dictating when and how loudly they scream. It's a simple idea and is easy to understand, which makes it less frustrating than other streamer-punishing meme games, but it still feels like playing an entire game made out of ice levels as you helplessly careen across waxed grocery store tile.

Worth trying out on Game Pass before buying.
