Alex's Cowabunga Collection Marathon, Pt. 6 of 13

Now this is the good stuff.

Turtles in Time improves on the first TMNT arcade game in every way. Better combat, sprites, animations, levels, enemy variety, and most importantly, the hitboxes. Whether you're fighting the Foot Clan or an end-level boss, the fights feel more fair and responsive this time around.

...that is, until you get to the Shredder fight. I call hax on that one.

The one really weird thing is the voice acting. A lot of the time, it's perfectly fine. But sometimes you'll get lines that are the same recording no matter which turtle says them, and the voice actors don't sound like any of the turtles. "My toes," "Pizza time," and "I'm trapped" are the big offenders here. They sound real weird!

If you're gonna get a group of 4 together for some TMNT arcade action, definitely play Turtles in Time, it improves on everything that the previous game did.
