For every step this takes forward, it feels like it takes three back.

Interacting with the environments and puzzle solving are generally an improvement.

Meanwhile, the combat is double (or even tripled) down on while feeling even worse than it did before. Tons of enemies with guns that can stunlock you to death if they hit you just once.

The action heavy focus is something that could work more or less depending on you but personally, I much preferred the spooky atmosphere of the first game. Something was truly lost moving between the two games and it's a shame.

Still, it was interesting enough for one run. This series has been a notable gap in my played list for ages now. Just a few more to go.
