If you liked Splatoon 2, you'll enjoy this. It's effectively the same game but improved and with more to do. I really love the various customization options in the game, it's easily the best addition to this game. Salmon Run has always been my favorite mode and it's even better here, being longer and much more challenging.

The story mode is also noticably better, taking a LOT of notes from Octo Expansion to make it feel much more unique and varied compared to previous stories. The lore additions in the logs are also really fucking cool. I am unsure how to feel about the finale though, I think it's a little too absurd and silly even for Splatoon.

Overall, get this game if you like Splatoon. 2 is already dead so if you wanna pick it up again you should probably just play this.
