Although the core game mechanics are quite similar, this game feels far better than Resident Evil 0.

It takes place in the ominous Spencer Mansion, showcasing tense exploration, intricate puzzles, and atmospheric storytelling. The enhanced visuals (due to some clever tricks), and refined controls elevate the gameplay, offering a nostalgic yet fresh encounter for both returning fans and newcomers. Even though I hate backtracking, the game kept me entertained with surprises while I was backtracking.
