I'm not sure if me having never played the original Stanley Parable had any major impact on my enjoyment but either way, Ultra Deluxe was a fun "fuck around and find out" kind of game that also had some real good funny moments.
What started out as "haha what if I go this way instead" somehow turned into an actually interesting and compelling 'rivalry' (can't think of any other way to describe it) between Slider Guy and the narrator.
9/10 very cool👍
