What a mess this mod was, and not even for the mod itself, but damn near everything surrounding it. Enough people have gone over its history, and at this point it's been so long that I'm not sure who wants to hear it anymore.

The songs are good and the charts are fun when they're finished. It's a really good homage to a lot of old and new (at the time) Sonic horror media, even going so far as to include some characters and concepts from the official works that just sorta happened into that horror niche. I still remember being ecstatic to see Fleetway of all characters get his own song after I had nearly completely forgotten about him.

The time is long past, and I know most of the devs have moved on to other things (the not shitty ones, at least), but it's still just an awful time to look back on. Maybe Legacy will be good, but obviously I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Art was very cute, a lot of references I couldn't catch but I liked the ones that I did a lot. The health bar and character icons were a bit intrusive, which caused me to struggle for the first, like, 5 songs, and the only good way to fix that is by removing the HUD in its entirety which kinda stunk.

Good mod, though. Always cool to see such huge mods like this flourish.

This one's just a silly little guy, I like him.

I feel like I'm being too harsh when rating these games. I am actually enjoying them, I mean that. I'm a sucker for horror media, combine that with probably my favorite series ever, it tickles my brain a bit. Like I said, I love the community that goes behind these critters, and with games like these, you get to see some really cool pixel art renditions of the characters, as well as some fun gimmicks like the fake error screens and the little infighting between whoever's in my notepad and Mr. X himself (Lord X, sorry, different guy). It's cool! It's all cool! I will never pretend it isn't!

That doesn't change the fact that all of these games are, like, 10 minutes long and pretty much all play the same, though. Looking forward to what's to come. Hopefully...

holy shit there's more of them oh my GOOOD

Very proud of all of these women, god damnit I actually cried this time.

Cute, very cute. Almost too cute, the writing was damn near too much to handle (someone else's review said "saccharine" and i can't think of any better ways to put it), but, like. I write like this. To people. So I feel like I can't say much.

Proud of all of these women, I cried.

No you gotta understand, this is a different X, this is the reboot, he's a different character from the original one that actually came out in 2011, who is also a different X than the one in the game that came out in 2013, that's 2013 X, they were separated because the original creator of 2011 X (the creepypasta, not the game) turned out to be not the best. You mustn't confuse them with 2017 X either, that's a different reboot made by the same guy that made 2011 X (this one), who was actually originally rebooted by the creator of the creepypasta, but again, not the best, so we don't talk about that one. There's also Lord X, he's a future variant of 2011 X (this 2011 X) from an alternate timeline, he's the first, but not the original, you gotta understand. Not to mention the Legacy rendition of 2011 X, but he doesn't really count, he's not canon to actual X, he was only made for the Funk mod.

i love these guys

it's okay adam i got it this time

sorry adam i fucked up the fridge had a scary monster in it and i didn't like it

Still not too big on the gimmick, but I think I do prefer the firefighter approach over the last game. Wasn't interested enough to go after all the hidden babies across the stage (still can't really see what they were goin' for with that one), especially when some of them seemed either too much of a hassle to reach or just plain unthinkable.
Not bad, but I feel like it sorta overstays its welcome, which is surprising given how short this game is.

It is what it is, Furi in 2D. Fun combat with a few admittedly strange decisions in controls, still a damn good 20 or so minutes.

god i need to replay Furi

Why do I try so hard to finish games that I don't enjoy? How many times do I need to restart a game before I realize that I just don't want to play it? There's no fault of my own, the game just isn't fun, and I see zero reason to continue it.

Everything about Sword & Shield is painstakingly dull and empty, not to mention unnecessarily slow. My problems with Sun & Moon are now amplified by an indescribable amount, as its now even more prominent just how many times you are stopped dead in your tracks for quite honestly nothing. Combined with the once again slow moving dialogue boxes and animations, all this to say I give up.

I have tried multiple times to finish Pokemon Shield, not one of those attempts made it past the 4th gym. Maybe I didn't like my starter choice? Maybe I'm just not a fan of my team composition? Maybe it's everything, and nothing I do will get me to have fun playing through the Galar region. I just wish I could realize these things sooner.

wheatie's just gonna have to live with the fact that she's been able to finish every mainline Pokemon game besides gen 8. And that's what really hurts out of this whole ordeal.

Recently started Bayonetta 2 and was also reminded that 8-Bit Bayonetta exists. Shockingly enough, this shit is neither 8-bit nor Bayonetta. I mean, as long as you consider Bayonetta as the hack-n-slash joyride that it is. In this game, you can jump, jump again, and shoot. Try for a high score, try for the achievements, you'll be spending maybe 30 minutes on this game and once you're done, you're never coming back to it. I will be going back to Bayonetta 2, though, thank you very much.
