im really sorry i misunderstood what you wrote and thought you were criticizing this for taking too narrow an angle when i thought the narrowness was the point. you do not seem like you want to talk about this very much and i'm sorry i mishandled using ur review as a point of reference (it was j the most extended discussion of what i thought was the dominant idea on the review page). i rly want to say emphatically that it was always super obvious to me you are not the kind of person in that sentence where i try to explain what the game is saying and what cultural phenomenon its criticizing, i feel worst about the fact that you thought i'd meant that. i meant for the parenthetical list to make "gamers" say something more specific, and not for it to say that anyone who plays video games somehow fits that description. i also was not implying that the bottom paragraph is directed at people the aforementioned sentence describes. if you like, i'll remove your name from that last paragraph, or, if you think it prudent, the whole thing

it's all right, sorry that I misjudged what you wrote too. at first glance it just seemed kinda of a mean commentary out of nowhere, you know? i mostly wrote about how the writing made me feel somewhat insecure about things outside the scope of it's text, and someone commenting about it in a way that seemed to not grasp it's intent made me doubly insecure. but as i said in it, this is not the best platform to write about this kind of stuff, anyways
