I've been really skeptical with this game since it got announced and really didn't vibe with most of the stuff they were showing. But as time passed and more things were revealed, I started having more faith in this game.

Well, it paid off. Although it is clear that it has a lot of stuff to improve, Sonic Frontiers is a good game. It's really cool to move around the islands, it has a nice feel of control, wish it had better momentum physics but it's still very enjoyable. The story is pretty good, Ian Flynn definitely knows how to treat the series and had very interesting ideas, although there are things that are not perfect at all. The music is really good, except the titan boss music, which is basically the rawest and dopest boss music I've listened to in a while.

One bossfight in particular was the most fun i've ever had playing a videogame in a while, and made my little old self dream come true. And seeing the characters interact with each other, with interesting topics, made me emotional several times.

I am a Sonic fan since i was 4 years old, now being 19. And seriously, this game restored my faith in the series. It has a lot of stuff to fix and improve, but it is an AMAZING first step to this new and thrilling era of the hedgehog.

Sonic is back baby.
