Picking sword makes the game feel much better early on, but even without that you're still getting a top 5 action RPG. KH2 and 3 make this game feel clunkier if you were to go back and look at it that way, but its more of a "I really can't believe they made this even better" kind of deal more than "wow this game is clunky". Some boss fights are kinda whatever but overall its just such a great game.
