While the single player campaign is pretty much just a glorified tutorial on how the game works, the gameplay, the characters, the insanity of it all is a blast to behold.
I expected the game to be a bit dead in the water considering it's age and the lack of any substantial content updates since BfN's release in late 2019, but no! The game has a healthy playerbase, and joining full lobbies takes no time.
And while Team Vanquish and Turf Takeover are the more popular gamemodes, Garden Ops is where it's at for me. It's a perfect translation of the tower-defense formula from the original game to the third-person shooter realm, there's a reason the campaign has lot of Ops missions! It's fun as hell, especially when you get a lot of Super Boss Waves.

I've been wanting to play this game since release and i've JUST gotten the opportunity to do so thanks to the game's Steam release. And also i have the ability to buy games now. Take THAT 11 year old zayJax!
I may be 12 hours in but i'll be damn sure i'll squeeze a whole lot more hours out of this one. The wait was damn worth it.
