I don't really think anyone can deny what an incredibly monumental game was, both for the indie gaming scene and for the industry in general. the art style is iconic and spawned many, many lookalikes today

that being said I don't think I've ever gotten into it the way you're "supposed" to. usually when I make a Minecraft world I just make a little ranch/zoo, collect every animal I can and then stop playing only to repeat the cycle when I remember it exists like 6 months later
