this was the first game I played and completed upon moving to a temporary home after my childhood home burned down. as someone who loves monster collection I was delighted in the amount of the interactivity you could have with the Bugsnax - take your camera out an observe, catch them, and eat them if you want!

but what blew me away were the residents of Snaxburg, and that's not something I can say every day about a monster collecting game. each and every character feels realistic and compelling in their own way, even when they have some of the silliest names I've ever seen

I do wish the game was a bit longer and that we could've interacted more with some of the last Grumpuses you meet in the game. perhaps a DLC or sequel can change that...
