arcadey and fun but didn't have any staying power for me

Para nada me gusto , no me gusta este tipo de juegos

I mostly play this game on skirmish mode, and almost always win. That is not to say the game isn’t bad because it is a lot of fun. Just I don’t have the drive to play the campaign and it’s not my favorite.

I've tried a few times now over the last year or so to get into 8-Bit Armies, but it just lacks any real sense of engagement. ..

It's a come back "homage" to a beloved genre of gaming that has all but disappeared over the last decade and a half. I grew up enjoying the likes of Command & Conquer for the PS1 and Star Wars: Empire at War for the PC, and know that I can be perfectly comfortable with an RTS game on consoles... but 8-Bit Armies is just too simple. It has all of the core features you'd want from a game like this, but somehow fails to make the actual gameplay itself engaging enough to play for more than a match or two at a time. I can't pin point why it simply doesn't work, but I know that it feels more like a sluggish chore to play than an enjoyable strategic experience that I just can't recommend it.

I'll be giving it more chances as time goes on, so hopefully it'll start working for me in the future.
