An ok beat'em up, I suppose? Kinda forgettable still. It's amazing how much Square Enix decided to fully focus so many possible FF XV related titles + a whole movie in a single swept for intensively promoting the real deal.

Decent "retro" styled beat-em-up taking place in the world of Final Fantasy XV. Now I haven't played FFXV yet, but from what I understand, the dev's have bits and pieces of lore sprinkled into different mediums such as a movie, comic, and this game I guess.
Anyways, it was free and I cannot complain about anything. The short story mode revolves around King Regis telling a younger Noctis bedtime stories based on the King's youth and his escapades with his comrades. It's nothing complex, but provides additional character to the King and how he could have been inspiration to Noctis and his friends in the future. I had a fun romp through my completionist playthrough thanks to the catchy 16-bit sound track, vibrant pixel art, and simple combo system. Once you master it, you can breeze through the game, but after you beat the story mode, you unlock "Dream Battle" which is essentially a challenge mode & arcade mode that tests your knowledge of the game's mechanics. I had to replay a few scenarios to get the challenge completed, but overall it felt reasonable and added to the fun-factor.

If i could explain this game in three words, it would be: free, fun, short (which is good in this case)

Un muy buen juego, el arte esta bien, la jugabilidad es buena, la historia esta curiosa y es gratis.

Cute pixel art style but the gameplay was too repetitive. It was nice to see a smiling young Prince Noctis ;;
