Dude, American Gladiators Island was the silliest fun! It's like they took the TV show and turned the goofiness up to eleven. Running the events is pretty basic, but the whole package – ridiculous cutscenes with the Gladiators and all that retro 90s cheese – it's just a wild, good time. You really gotta be in the right mood for it.

Good god, save me. The show alone is enough to strike fear into the hearts of most people, a dodgy game based on said show is really pushing your luck. It would all be better if you actually got to kill your opponent in a variety of gruesome ways like Mortal Kombat but instead every club seems to be wrapped in foam, every floor coated with mats instead of deadly spikes, where's the fun?

Thumbs down, well they would be down if I could feel them after all the button mashing.

Used to rent this as a kid from Blockbuster. I loved it back in the day but tried to play it recently and its just… bad.

Worth playing for the Joust portion and those over the top digitized screams LOL
