Learning how to park a spaceship.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Treinando pra fazer baliza.

A recommend, with a few "BUTS", because the developer is earnest enough to give this game out for free back in 2020.

$1 is not a lot to pay for a game. Sure, it's a red flag for game collectors such as myself that there is a higher likelihood that it's gonna be junk, but this game presents itself the exception.

There's a few things that make it stand in for an asset flipper, school project or meme game, such as no audio, music that awkwardly stops just as it starts. The additional concepts like worms, satellites and portals that are never explained in the tutorial. The default Unity logo on the program icon. Achievements given out like candy, such as by beating a level (but not by getting fuel cans, which should have been a nice bonus). 30 levels are a favorite in low-priced games, because it sets the standard for Steam it is a serious game and worth not de-listing from the store.

Some nitpicks are: Not explaining that the spaceship can safely land on Level 9 of Arcade for. Not giving a damn about the fake scores pointed out in the discussion forum. The developer could've also unlocked Adventure mode from the get-go, but I do understand it's so players can get a little more acclimated as to what to expect with the environment.

Then, there's the fun parts, and that's everything else. Progressive difficulty increases. The sense of wonder and enjoyment by zooming around space. The precision in getting into tight corners, which is challenging but not impossible. The fuel gauges reminding you that in space, life is precious, and resources are limited.

Definitely a good game that could become great if the developer simply took the time to address the "fake score" cheaters and explained the mechanics of the game better. However, it's truly in no rush.

Fun little game, good physics and relaxing music. Some people can beat the whole thing in a few minutes and I don't even want to know how.

''Arcade Moonlander is a fun casual pick-up-and-play game with an emphasis on gameplay that’s easy to understand, and hard to master. This is because the levels are both designed to be tough with many obstacles that you need to take your time for, but are ultimately designed around speedrunning, with many risky alleyways and shortcuts to take for the fastest time. Furthermore, the explorative crowd can also go wild as the levels have secrets in them, though don’t expect to be rewarded for your curiosity. That’s what we have the Adventure mode for fortunately, which is one big map with multiple ways to your destination. Though unfortunately, it is also the only map, and I definitely would have liked to see more as the game itself isn’t very long. And despite the game being focused on speedrunning, there are few in-game options that would benefit speedrunners. The leaderboards are only in the Steam client for example, and there are no ghosts to race against or for the purpose of training. But the game has seen updates in the past few years as well as a new mode called Procedural mode that randomly generates new stages so who knows what more is in store for us? But regardless of what’s ahead, you can’t go wrong with this short charming arcade title.''
