Awesome puzzle gameplay in a similar vein to Fez in that many involve using runes to open things. Not nearly as hard though, which I appreciate.
The rhythm boss battles are exciting and surprisingly difficult. I’m a sucker for rhythm gameplay though, so I was down for the challenge haha. The 3 difficulty modes help in case you get stuck on a particularly difficult boss. You can unlock some optional bosses that are as hilarious as they are difficult.
I enjoyed the writing and its characters, even if I forgot many of their names as soon as I heard them. They’re Norse names that are hard to pronounce.
The music is badass and ups the excitement during the tough fights! The only con I could think for this game is that the story is a little hard to follow at times. The gameplay is so damn unique though that I didn’t mind at all.
