I can see the appeal of this game with the customization options, deep lore of the Forgotten Realms, etc. Really don't like the real time with pause gameplay and the way the menu system was ported to switch. Ended up giving up on it.

It's so dense and hard to understand, but I can tell that there is a great game underneath it all. Will return to it one day

Coudln't get into the gameplay of the first.

Firstly it’s based of 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and while I enjoy 5th edition, I despise this game’s combat mostly for being real time. It’s good Balder’s Gate is a different experience to the ttrpg, but it’s not for me.
