Firstly it’s based of 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and while I enjoy 5th edition, I despise this game’s combat mostly for being real time. It’s good Balder’s Gate is a different experience to the ttrpg, but it’s not for me.

This is one of my favorite games of all time, but it definitely thrived and was meant for the PC; pause-and-play point-and-click worked SO much better. I found the Switch edition to be difficult to get into, which is really sad to me.

Yeah I definitely felt the little I did play was held back by being played with a controller.
