short walking simulator about the real-life experiences of the creator's grandmother as a young woman during WWII. starts off as a game about taking photos to piece together the grandmother's story, but abruptly turns into a very different sort of narrative game, with more literal recreations of wartime events that perhaps exceed the devs' limited resources, and an ill-advised detour into the supernatural. still, it's only an hour or so long and the story being told is a compelling one, even if I don't love every aspect of how Brukel chooses to tell it
