This game resonated with me deeply. Vincent is a good person who makes terrible choices and has to figure out what the hell he's doing with his life. The cozy evening sections where you can vibe with the boys and hear the stories of your fellow patrons contrasted with the rewarding puzzle sections at night make it a blast. OST is great, characters are great, art is great, overall one of Atlus' gems. It's so good and has multiple endings so I know I'll be back. Also, Katherine > Catherine.

Fun gameplay/atmosphere
You know I considered this to be one of the best Atlus titles initially after finishing it, but I keep thinking about the story/themes and how this is written by modern Atlus

fun challenging puzzles and great story telling. Catherine makes you think over some important aspects of life and helps you discover more about yourself. The choices you make in this game are important and impact the way the story plays out so remember to think throughly before making decisions and be honest for the best experience. I can’t say much more without spoiling the fun so just pick it up, reccomended.

why release og on pc when full body is so close to releasing atlus? just felt like i wasted my money lmao.

Catherine is just such a unique experience. Combining puzzle solving, platforming and an engaging romance story that has ending influences depending on RPG choices made throughout the story, it is safe to say that there is no experience like Catherine out there. The characters and locations are superb, the art style is beautiful as Atlus' Shigenori Soejima continuously provides excellent character designs and Catherine is no exception. The story is stressful and intense as our main character finds himself in an INTERESTING love triangle that I think everyone should experience at least once. The music absolutely bangs to complement the gameplay and I think everybody should try this game atleast once. I do think it is abit difficult and while I managed to get through it in about 15 hours I had times where I was completely stuck for atleast an hour, there is a very easy secret mode that completely takes the challenge away if you are interested in experiencing the story and getting your own unique ending of like 10 different ones, meaning that you can still experience it without completely losing your patience.

A puzzle system that will leave you feeling like the most clever person in the room combined with a story that will have you continually shouting "WTF!?" at your screen. While the runtime is maybe just a biiiiit too long, if you're into it none of that will matter. Grab your pillow, do your best not to be a trash person, and climb to escape.
