Chaos Break is a third-person shooting game, with echoes of survival horror such as Resident Evil. Set in an abandoned biochemical laboratory on an isolated island, the two player characters, Mitsuki and Rick, are part of an investigatory and cleansing force sent to find out the cause of an 'anomalous thermal reaction'. This game is a spin-off, set in the same universe as the arcade game Chaos Heat.

Super cool idea in concept, Resident Evil meets Sci-Fi. But it really is executed quite poorly. I still think it has or better said had potential but the competition was just a lot better

Very fun action survival horror game. One of my favorites on the system.

Much like Parasite Eve this is a great way of pushing more action into the survival horror formula, and it honestly might work better here than in PE, even if it's less interesting.
The game, overall, is a bit bland, but it's fun enough to play. I only played through Mitsuki's campaign, and I don't know if I'll play through the other one. I'm glad I've played what I have but I think I've got all I need out of this game.
