Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising is a fun expansion for fans of the wacky real-time strategy series, but it's not without its flaws. It brings back the over-the-top action and cheesy humor we know and love, with new campaigns for all three factions and a Yuriko Omega side story. The new units are cool, and the missions are challenging, but some can feel unbalanced and rely on frustrating difficulty spikes. Still, if you crave more Red Alert 3 and don't mind some jank, Uprising is a solid addition with a decent price tag.

excellent standalone expansion pack
main theme is wonderful
you should play yuriko's campaign

This game has an unfathomable amount of swag. Unfortunately, it's not very good for new players. The campaign is a bit too difficult for someone who hasn't played a Red Alert game before (I played a lot of C&C Generals in my childhood though). The camera controls bother me the most. I prefer to pan with the middle mouse button, but I don't see a way to change that in the game settings. I did one skirmish match and I had fun, but I wish I liked it more, honestly.

There are quite a few new units in this and a new story to each faction and as you can guess, it's under the assumption that the allies won, oh joy.

Anyway, there are 4 campaigns to choose, allies, soviets, empire and Yuriko which is a personal story about the special unit the empire have, Yuriko Omega. You have to play the soviets first though a mission or two to unlock the others and the only two stories I like in this one is the soviets and Yuriko's because I could understand why they want to do stuff, but the other two is merely a grab for power and such.

All in all, nice new units, but the campaigns are a bit short so it's a okay buy and you don't need red alert 3 to run so maybe buy it when it's on sale like I did, I believe. Unless you are a HUGE fan of C&C.

Uma expansão fraca que se destaca somente pela campanha chinesa. Fora isso, é descartável.
