Played this for 30 minutes and learnt nothing has changed since the free trial on Xbox. Runs like garbage on Series S and I've seen better facial animations in SFM porn.

Play Payday 2, not this game, not 3.

It came out more polished than Payday 3 did. that's cool

The gunplay is actually surprisingly decent but otherwise this is a mess. The roguelike structure is more annoying than fun and the generic mission objectives get repetitive suuuuper fast. Feels like a Payday clone with some roguelike elements slapped on it and not-terribly-enthusiastic celebrity appearances.

It's payday but with an actual story and campaign this game is amazing and doesn't pull any punches

By no means is this a groundbreaking or genre defining game. This is Payday without all the wasted time, and while it doesnt have the depth either, it strips out all the worst parts that come with a deep and confusing meta and replace it with a repeatable rougelike, in which you learn that as frustrating as your mistakes are, very few of them will be detrimental enough to end a run.
