a somewhat demanding set of destabilizing trial and error action encounters set in a hypnotic and gravitatious world that ur always a few steps away from rly understanding. burns brightly as a wordless messianic fantasy before introducing more and more sinister elements, not for any big plot twist but just an additional color of offbeat unease. rly difficult to describe, commendable for how Whole the playing experience feels, frequently majestic and occasionally frustrating.

An utterly inscrutable and deeply malevolent ecosystem. Life is taken as quickly as it is created. Corrupted, parasitized, existing seemingly only in pursuit of its own destruction. Like a satanic Rain World, this is an alien place with its own life and laws, but it clearly used to be something else. Something that made sense, something balanced, maybe even peaceful. Not anymore.

Dap is possibly too enigmatic and beautiful to deserve being shackled down by its conventional action gameplay, but it does happen to be a pretty good action game.

Fun and interesting little game. If a psychedelic-horror Pikmin-like sounds like your jam, then you should definitely check this out.

A horror-themed take on Pikmin is an interesting idea and the glitched-out pixel art is nicely creepy, but after spending just a little while on this, the combat focus, lack of difficulty settings, and sparse checkpoints suggest that this just isn't going to be my thing. I'm sure others will like it better, but I'd recommend The Wild at Heart instead for a 2D Pikmin-like on PC.

Has some dumb difficulty parts, but overall a great game.
