Stranger Things is a brand-new Chapter for Dead by Daylight. The Stranger Things Chapter includes a new map, the Underground Complex, located below the Hawkins National Laboratory. A Demogorgon is the new untamable Killer. Against the Demogorgon stands not one, but two new Survivors: Nancy Wheeler, a tough aspiring journalist, and Steve Harrington, a former high school jock with a knack for finding trouble. The Stranger Things Chapter also features two exclusive cosmetic items: Steve’s Scuffed Rolled Sleeves and Nancy’s Torn Sweatshirt. This DLC was delisted on November 17th 2021, along with the related edition. The DLC's map, The Underground Complex, was removed from the game and additional costumes related to Stranger Things were removed from the in-game store.

This was a licensed chapter, based in, you guessed it, the hit Netflix show, Stranger Things.
This chapter brought to the game 1 new killer (The Demogorgon), 2 new survivors (Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler) and 1 new map (Hawking Laboratory).
The killer is fair and well designed, and the community loves him, the two new survivors (as well as the killer) brought known characters from the show into the game which is always a nice thing to have and each of them features their own 3 unique perks.
The map was visually stunning and fair, although a bit hard for new players to track survivors and generators.
The only bad thing about this DLC is that it got retracted from the game on the 17th November 2021, two years after it's release.
Sadly there is no way for players outside of PC to currently buy this chapter, and even if you're a PC player, you're going to have to buy it in a retail game keys website where it's price is super inflated (Probably in the hundreds by now) so it's totally not worth your money.
Personally, I have a rule that I only rate things for what they truly offer and not their availability, so I'm going to have to rate this chapter with a 4.5 out of 5 for bringing to the game very famous and successful characters that are fair, and a stunning map.
Joking aside, Stranger Things was one of the most faithful adaptations of the original source material into Dead by Daylight. Nancy, Steve, and Demogorgon all look great. The Hawkins map is/was extremely detailed and one of the only indoor maps that doesn't make me want to commit delete. The perks this time range from dumpster tier to decent, but luckily the characters themselves are the main attraction here. It's a shame that the licensing fell through for whatever reason. If you play this game, be sure to pick up this DLC at over half off before it's too late. (Provided of course you actually care about any of the characters of course)
