released on Apr 01, 2013

In this unique and offbeat stop motion musical detective adventure game, Dominique Pamplemousse, the titular protagonist, is a down-on-their-luck private investigator of ambiguous gender only one rent payment away from homelessness. When the CEO of a major record company shows up asking Dominique to locate a missing pop star, taking the job appears to be the straightforward thing to do. However, as things are never quite as they seem in these kinds of stories, Dominique winds up framed for a crime they didn't commit, bringing to surface their mysterious past and the events that led them to take up shady detective work in the first place. Oh, and did I mention it's a musical? With singing and everything?

you ever wanted to play a musical adventure game? well here's a claymation musical adventure game that's pretty funny

This was fun! The voices and music were very creative and well put together. It's really based on whether you enjoy music, so I can't recommend it for everyone, but it is a well-written and funny short game. There's not much in the way of puzzles and mechanics, with the exception of two points where I couldn't resolve by simply clicking down the dialogue tree.

Quite a lovely game, different from what I expected it to be!

Had me scratching my head a bit, with no very clear directions and many things to click on so I did get stuck, unsure of what to do next, but I figured it out in the end.

Great art, lovely singing (for the most part), funny dialogue options and references, and even 2 endings, this game was definitely worth a play!
