An arcade fighting game spin-off of a RPG series set in a fantasized feudal Japan. Known for its similarities with early Samurai Shodown games (including random item drops and combining attack buttons for heavier attacks), it is the only game in the entire series to get a release outside of Japan.

good looking, and good playing. all around good and one of the better neo geo fighters ive played thus far. This is the only english release from the Tengai Makyo series, a Japan-exclusive RPG series that began on the PC engine that I still need to play. This game doesn't have a bad case of SNK boss syndrome, which is extremely rare and forgiving for a Neo Geo fighting game. Probably worth playing with friends.

It looks nice but it's really barebones for a fighter and the mid-battle items are unnecessary. Most of the characters really don't have much in the way of moves so it gets repetitive pretty quickly.
