This is by far my favorite in the series. It's also a decent bit longer than the others, which means it also has a lot of variety when it comes to multiple playthroughs. My only real problem was when navigating main street, if the mouse was too far to the left when I clicked, Freddi would go right which was just annoying since the animation of them swimming to the next spot is really slow.
[A Manual That Explains How To Read the Manual]
In contrast to the previous two Freddi fish games, this one is expressly linear, like knocking over a line of dominoes. Get Item A to use on lock A which gives you item B which can be used on Lock B which allows you to go through the door to get item C which is used on Lock C which gives you access to item D, and so on and so forth, you get the idea. The good parts stem from the minigames and the final segment of the game, but the rest of the game is pretty underwhelming, even for a kids point-and-click game.

Despite the fact that this might've been the first game I ever played, I only just beat it today. Not because I was too stupid to get it (I mean, younger me was) but because every time I went back to play it, I stopped playing after the joke of playing a kid's game wore out. And I gotta say, this game is incredible. I've never played the others, so I'm not sure how it stands up. But the comedic timing of the cutscenes is actually wonderful. Between that and the beautifully painted backgrounds which, in all honesty, fill me with so much wonder, this game is a must play for people who like weird shit like me.
As for the final game in the Freddi Fish franchise... Well, it's more Freddi Fish. The game differs from its prequels in its quest structure, though, and I can't put my finger on whether it's an improvement or not. It's certainly harder to see through, but at the same time, it felt like I didn't really know what my goal in the game was, and I was just grabbing random items around because I knew I would need them. I stumbled across the ending almost by accident.
