Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee is a fan's dream come true, letting you take control of iconic kaiju and smash cities to rubble in over-the-top battles. While the gameplay can feel a bit clunky and the modes limited, the sheer joy of embodying these cinematic titans with destructive special moves provides a satisfying spectacle. If you love the Godzilla franchise and crave some simple monster-battling mayhem, this game delivers nostalgic fun.
Decently fun party fighter. Maybe I would like it better if I put more time into learning the characters.
Feels a bit sluggish and I wish there was more, but it works well for what it is. Combat is fun in spite of this, and there are incredibly satisfying moments. The energy/breath mechanic is a ton of fun even if it can feel busted sometimes.
The AI in solo can be brutal but I think it was a lot of fun.
