There's nothing particularly wrong or good about Greendog. It's just kinda there, chilling in the background with its other fellow mediocre games.

The man, the myth, the legend, the meme himself, Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude! is a serviceable game that doesn't deserve the hate it gets. Especially compared to other Western developed Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, and especially for other Sega Interactive Development Division developed games published by Sega. Its Caribbean inspired music is also a standout for Western developed games. Turns out that even GEMS can make good music when used properly! I'd say that feat alone makes it eternally underrated.
