Extremely cute but not a fun experience on Steam deck, even after modifying the controls. Story was bizarre. But so many cute characters and pretty scenes.

this game was adorable n i loved it :))

Fun, quirky puzzle point and click. Interesting and confusing world. Convoluted logic behind creatures and machines. Not really necessary to the gameplay but fun to read. Very unique world and beautiful raw hand drawn feel. Fun, not too difficult puzzles but interesting design. So far no overdone puzzles that so many indie puzzlers rely on, i.e. water tubes, anything with pathways (electric), liquid proportions getting to the exact amount using different sized beakers, etc. Good music and ambiance. Pervasive framerate issues. Pretty bad honestly. Game was fun and charming though, even with the plot being convoluted.

I wish there was more!

This is such a cute little game to play! It's beautifully designed, the gameplay is easy enough to follow along with, and the story is really well thought out and made me so emotional! It's a fairly short game, even for completionists.

Regardless of play time, Growbot is definitely a game worth playing, with cute characters, beautiful design and a great story, intertwined with engaging puzzles and interactive musical elements.
