I wasent aware that there was another game like this one, so I anticipated this title to be much longer. So the fact that it was short was pretty underwhelming.

Like some other games around this time, it's a product of its time. A romance story about social distancing is novel though. There's a lot you could do with it. Both the leads are interesting enough to hold your attention. It's a cute little narrative.

But there isn't really much conflict or major events. It's just following these 2 people and the time jumps gloss over a lot of potentially interesting moments.

I don't dislike this game, but there isn't a whole lot going on here either. So it's hard to write a lot about it. Maybe the other game is better?

As someone who hasn't played the original Half Past Fate yet, but planning on it, I was a little disappointed in Half Past Fate: Romantic Distancing. The game was really short and didn't really offer much on gameplay and story.

The story is of Stephen and Robin, who meet at a computer repair shop when Stephen's laptop needs fixing. They find a lot of common interests and decide to plan a date to a live music show. Sadly their plans are halted because quarantine begins. The story continues on there with them doing dates through video chatting and having small hurdles along the way.

The story is a great idea in theory, but they didn't really expand on it properly with the game. It was still enjoyable enough, but I wouldn't recommend the game, especially with the current price of it.
