Amazing and relaxing puzzle game with ton of content.

I really liked Hero of the Kingdom. It is just so colorful and relaxing to play. It had a calming effect on me and surprised me with its content and puzzles.

Hero of the Kingdom is a point and click game and every action you do is controlled by the mouse. I think this is one of the best point and click games out there.

The story is that your father is missing and your quiet little life on your farm has taken an unexpected turn. Bandits are ravaging the kingdom and chaos is spreading. You need to find your farther, travel to new places and restore order in the kingdom by helping various people on the way.

You explore a big landscape with many different areas/maps, which all have a ton of stuff to do. You can receive quests; find items you need to complete tasks and find hidden objects. Every quest has its own requirements and backtracking between the areas of the kingdom is necessary.

You receive hints on where to find certain items but most times, you are on your own to figure out what to do, especially on the higher difficulty settings, in which you receive no help. This adds to the challenge.

It is still a little hard to believe that you, a simple farmer can save the kingdom by doing chores for people but hey, you got to start somewhere.

I love the graphics in Hero of the Kingdom. They are bright, colorful and there is just so much on the screen that really makes this game feel alive. It also has that calming effect I mentioned earlier. It is just beautiful, nothing else to say about it.

The sounds and soundtracks are amazing. It has nice quiet ambient music with a perfect medieval theme that fits the game really well.

The puzzles can be a little hard and confusing sometimes (mainly because you do not know what you need to complete it) but they are not unfair, and you will figure them out soon enough.

My only complaint is that the game feels a little slow sometimes, especially when waiting for an animation to complete of a puzzle you just solved. It is a minor complaint, however.

Although a fairly simple and cheap game, it is filled with content. You never get bored and are constantly searching for items, combining previous found objects and solving challenging puzzles. The game is also really long for a point and click game, something I liked really much.

I enjoyed every minute of Hero of the Kingdom and would recommend it to everyone.

I've never been much of a fan of click point games, but this actually caught me in such a way that when I found out I was already exploring everything in the game offered. For those who never play this kind genre will not regret playing this.
