I love weird eccentric shit like this. This is what a random 25-minute long itch.io visual novel should look like--weirdly janky menus, an unedited renpy icon, that default sans serif renpy font, the works. I mean it when I say this stuff is endearing, because it is lol.

Unfortunately the comedy writing isn't amazing, but it did still get a couple strong exhales outta me, particularly anything jabbing at murder mystery VN tropes. And the voice acting ranges from okay to slightly annoying, but again, this is so short it's not really a big deal.

But if anything this solidified my view that I think photographic backgrounds in VNs are cool as fuck and I will now seek out games that have them
