This game is utter garbage. The Graphics are not good, they could have been slightly more textured, even back then. The Gameplay has you insert random things into Diagon alley, complete too simply short tasks that sometimes repeat a skill from another, and build a small part with limited pieces that isn't worth any price of admission, this is a horrible way of handling a Lego Harry Potter game, even character creation has limited options, this is lazy, and Diagon Alley doesn't even look creative, moving the camera with holding and moving is too flimsy here, there is no auto aim, characters move too slowly, and I couldn't simply get Harry to get on the broom for a while, I guess the cutscenes after each challenge are nice to look at the visuals of though. Lego Creator: Harry Potter takes many kids favorite toy from over a Generation ago, and shows the effort that needs to be made to make it garbage.

Dude this was like THE first PC game I ever played!!!!

Cumbersome and primitive today, but it felt enthralling at the time. Very simply put, the Lego Creator games allowed you to build whatever you wanted out of the digital bricks they put into the game. This one has an emphasis on the Harry Potter theme, and the kinds of bricks that were included in the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone sets. The original "sounds sort of like John Williams" soundtrack is an absolute highlight.
