Expected this to be a top down run and gun, was a little disappointed when it turned out to be a ground-based shmup. It's thankfully not terrible tho. Kinda got Mega Man vibes from the 3-shot limit and the way encounters are built around that. Sometimes you get to ride your car onto a ramp for airtime and shoot down airborne targets, it's always fucking hilarious when it happens. Vehicle swapping happens a few times too: Last two stages are done via helicopter, but they are too hard because they give you a hurtbox too big to dodge things. Kinda wish they added an on-foot stage or two, maybe near the end for a really cool finale.
