Madden NFL 20... yikes. It's basically the same game as last year with a few minor changes and a fresh coat of paint. The gameplay feels clunky, the commentary is still annoyingly repetitive, and Franchise mode gets barely any love. On top of that, microtransactions are everywhere, making it feel like a money grab. Unless you're a die-hard football fan desperate for the latest roster update, this one is a hard pass.

Madden 20 is my favorite game of all time, for some reason with thinking over things I’ve come to realize this game personally has been with me through some of my most difficult times.
Recently EA announced the game will be taken offline on April 15th, 2024 and it made me sad, I will never forget the OP Eric Dickerson card, the actually decent story, and the most fun I’ve personally ever had on a franchise ever.
